Anti-dumping Sunset review on dumping duty on sodium hydrosulphite Our Bureau
New Delhi , Oct. 22 THE Designated Authority in the Commerce Ministry has initiated sunset review concerning anti-dumping duty on sodium hydrosulphite imported from China. Sodium hydrosulphite, a white or greyish white crystalline powder, is widely used in diverse industrial sectors such as textiles, soap, molasses and glue. A gazetted notification for initiation of the sunset review states that it has been decided to review the final findings imposing anti-dumping duty on the subject goods from November 2001. Accordingly, the Authority initiates investigations to review whether cessation of anti-dumping duty is likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury on imports of sodium hydrosulphite originating in or exported from China. The review covers all aspects of the final findings of the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on the subject goods from China. Transpek-Silox Industry Ltd, Vadodara, Gujarat and Demosha Chemicals Pvt, Mumbai represented domestic industry in the original investigations.
