BSNL plans total coverage in Kerala

KOTTAYAM: BSNL aims at total mobile coverage of Kerala, said Mr K.V. Subramanyam, General Manager (IMPCS), BSNL.

BSNL also plans to construct 1,200 more mobile towers. As many as 4.75 lakh new connections will also be provided. Important roads, railways, hill stations and coastal towns will be brought under the net. Kerala showed tremendous response to the wireless fixed phone ( WLL).

Mr Subramanyam also distributed Sanchar Saradhi and Sanchar Seva Padhak awards to BSNL employees. Mr K.S. Sreenivasan presided. Mr P.G. Krishnakumar and Mr Manoj Antony received Sanchar Saradhi awards.

Those who received Sanchar Seva Padhak included Mr Kuruvilla Joseph, Ms Sindhu Krishnan and Ms T.M. Santhamma.
