NATCO Pharma Q2 net up

HYDERABAD: NATCO Pharma Ltd has reported growth of 16.93 per cent in turnover and 26.77 per cent in net profit for the second quarter ended September 2005.

The company achieved a turnover of Rs 54 crore for the quarter under review against Rs 46.18 crore in the corresponding previous quarter. The net profit improved to Rs 8.38 crore (Rs 6.61 crore), yielding an EPS of Rs 3.11 (Rs 2.83).

For the first six months, the turnover stood at Rs 100.23 crore (Rs 88.82 crore), while the post-tax profit amounted to Rs 13.92 crore (Rs 11.56 crore). The company informed the stock exchanges that its board of directors, at a meeting on Monday, has declared an interim dividend of Rs 1.25 per share for 2005-06.
