Infrastructure India-Tech Foundation to host biz summit Our Bureau
Mumbai , Oct. 24 INDIA-Tech Foundation, an initiative supported by the Government, will host the seventh International Infrastructure Business Summit and Expo between November 9 and 11 in Mumbai. This was announced at a press conference here on Monday by Mr Indra Mohan, President, India-Tech Foundation. Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, will inaugurate the three-day summit on November 8 at the MMRDA exhibition grounds in Mumbai. Mr Vilasrao Desmukh, Chief Minister, Maharashtra, will be the chief guest. The theme for the summit is `India and the Asian country.' It will focus on the Indian power sector, modernisation of Indian cities, and improving transport connectivity. 148 companies will exhibit their latest technologies and machineries at the venue. The summit is also promoted as a `Destination India' event across West Asia, North Africa, the Commonwealth of Independent States and SAARC region.
