Seabird imports sheep embryo shipment

Hyderabad , Oct. 25

SEABIRD Sea & Air Logistics Pvt. Ltd, a Seaways Group Company, has for the first time in the country imported a shipment of sheep embryo through the Mumbai Customs.

The material was brought from Perth, Australia on Thai Airways.

In a press release, the Chairman and Managing Director of Seaways Group that runs Seaways Shipping Ltd, said cooperation from the Mumbai Customs facilitated speedy clearance of the cargo.

The cargo has been imported by ASAD Farms in Andhra Pradesh. Efforts are on to undertake experiments in sheep embryo transfer.
