Aventis net up 17%

MUMBAI: Aventis Pharma Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 49.7 crore for the quarter ended September 30, up 17 per cent compared to Rs 42.5 crore for the corresponding year-ago period.

Total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 193.8 crore in 2004 third quarter to Rs 231.5 crore for the quarter ended September 30, the company told the Bombay Stock Exchange.
