ONLINE graduate school, Universitas 21 Global has launched its new post-graduate programme — Master of Science in Information System Management.

Designed to equip students with technology management skills, the programme caters to a growing demand for skilled IT professionals. Slated to commence in February 2006, the programme would have eight elective specialisation areas.

The school already has three other programmes running and a total of 1,100 students from 50 countries, said Mr Mukesh Aghi, Chief Executive Officer, Universitas 21 Global.

Bullish on Indian students taking the course, Mr Aghi said, "We have seen a 200 per cent yearly growth of Indian students in our management course."

He added that most of its students hail from Singapore and West Asian countries.

Universitas 21 Global was established in 2001. It is a joint venture between Universitas 21, an international network of 16 universities and Thomson Learning, a tailored learning solutions provider.
