Moderate rise in Indo-Rama Textiles profit

NEW DELHI: Indo Rama Textiles Ltd has registered a net sales of Rs 87.45 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, an increase from last year's Rs 85.74 crore. The net profit for the quarter too rose to Rs 2.02 crore (Rs 1.29 crore).

The company's net sales for the first six months stood at Rs 183.95 crore (Rs 185.26 crore) recorded last year.

The profit-after-tax has also grown to Rs 6.17 crore (Rs 2.14 crore).

Mr Vishal Lohia, CEO, Indo Rama Textiles, said, "The company's performance is a result of a strong focus on value addition and efficiency enhancement.
