Fujitsu develops 8-bit MCUs

BANGALORE: Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd has announced the new 8-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) series developed for consumer electronics and home appliances.

The new MCUs are the latest additions to the Fujitsu FMC-8FX family, expanding its range to meet the diverse requirements of the consumer electronics market. They are designed for use with 5V single power supplies, as well as 3V supplies.

The new 8FX series use only one-fifth the power, yet have five times the processing capacity of earlier Fujitsu products. The different features are designed to suit the various application needs.
