A migrant artisan from Andhra Pradesh selling flowerpots and curios made of cane and bamboo at Chalakudy near Kochi. Products made of bamboo, cane and a variety of grass have ready customers in Kerala. A new range of products made by bamboo/reed weaving families of Kerala are expected to be showcased at the Kerala Bamboo Festival in Kochi in December.
