Strategy Trigger opens studio store at Coimbatore airport Our Bureau
Coimbatore , Oct. 27 TRIGGER, the largest selling mid-segment denim brand in the country, has inaugurated its first studio store at the Coimbatore airport. It is planning to set up similar studio stores at all international and domestic airports in a phased manner. Mr K.G. Balakrishnan, Chairman, KG Ltd, said the Trigger studio stores would be in place at the Kochi, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Bangalore airports before the end of the current calendar year. The studio store concept, he said, was conceived to showcase the bold new face of Trigger as a "youth icon brand". The company is planning another major realignment on the retailing front by bringing under its wings all large format (800-1,000 sq. ft.) Trigger stores, which are currently franchised. "This is in line with the anticipated consumers mind shift - from shopping at multi-brand outlets to a single or uni-brand stores," he said.
