KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will launch its thrice-weekly service between Amsterdam and Hyderabad from October 30.

The airline will operate a MD 11 aircraft on the sector with the flight operating on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, according to a press release here.

With the addition of these flights, KLM would be offering 17 weekly roundtrip flights with its partner, Northwest Airlines, between India and Amsterdam. The Indian cities connected are Delhi, Mumbai and now Hyderabad.

To mark the launch of the KLM-Northwest flights to Hyderabad, the airline is offering double bonus miles on the Hyderabad-Amsterdam sector for all flying blue members travelling between October 30 and November 15, 2005.

The Hyderabad destination also represents KLM's first initiative in response to the recently expanded airline rights obtained for operations to and from India.
