MUMBAI: Bihar Caustic and Chemicals Ltd, a subsidiary of Hindalco, has reported a 28 per cent increase in its second quarter net profit at Rs 9.07 crore against Rs 7.09 crore in the year-ago period. Net sales moved up 27 per cent to Rs 33.42 crore from Rs 26.29 crore in the year-ago period.

Shares of Bihar Caustic fell Rs 2.55 to Rs 63.30 on the BSE on Friday.
