BEML Oct order book swells

BANGALORE: Bharat Earth Movers Ltd said it has bagged orders totalling Rs 368 crore during October this year alone. The order book stands at Rs 2,457 crore as of October 27, it said in a release.

The new orders are from coal companies and National Mineral Development Corporation, Hyderabad, for the supply of dozers, dump trucks, motor graders, high capacity excavators and rope shovels.

The defence PSU which is into making equipment for mining, defence and rail including metro rail, has set a sales target of Rs 2,200 crore for the current year.
