IVRCL Q2 net up 63 pc

IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects Ltd has reported a growth of 36.59 per cent in income and 63.27 per cent in net profit for the second quarter of current fiscal ended September 2005.

The company posted a turnover of Rs 257 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 188.17 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal and achieved a net profit of Rs 11.2 crore (Rs 6.86 crore).

For the first half of current fiscal, the company's income increased by 32.08 per cent at Rs 558.69 crore (Rs 423 crore), while the net profit improved by 57.28 per cent at Rs 27.65 crore (Rs 17.58 crore).

According to the company, it has received orders worth Rs 2,510 crore during the first half of current fiscal.
