CHENNAI: FAL Industries, maker of office appliances and consumer durable goods among other things, has introduced its new range of document shredders.

A Pluz International, a newly established company, will distribute the product — FACIT paper shredders — in Tamil Nadu.

Speaking at the launch, Mr Ravishankar, Vice-President, Bradma (Forbes Group), said that data breach and information espionage are serious concerns today. The shredder comes in six models, the first four of which come in the personal segment, and the last two, in the heavy-duty segment. Mr Nandukumar Dhruvan, one of the partners of A Pluz International, said that the shredder could destroy documents, CDs, credit cards and laminated sheets.
