FDI in telecom

This is with reference to the news "Vodafone buys 10 per cent stake in Bharti-Tele for Rs 6,700 crore,"(Business Line, October 29): This comes comes within days of the FDI limit in telecom companies being raised to 74 per cent.

It is hoped that this will help the industry expand and take it to greater heights. And this also paves the way for further FDIs.
