SpiceJet services to Chennai, Hyderabad from Nov 14

SPICEJET, the low cost, no-frills airline, has announced the expansion of its network to the South, connecting the business cities of Chennai and Hyderabad to Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. Flights between these sectors will begin from November 14.

The addition of the southern cities takes SpiceJet's operations to 11 cities across the country and the number of daily flights to 38.

As an introductory offer, the airline has offered a Red Hot Special launch fare of Rs 999 till the end of November, subject to seat availability. This fare is exclusive of a fuel charge, an official statement said.

All fares would be available for booking with effect from 10 a.m. onwards on October 31. These fares would be available through the call centre at 1600 180 3333/09871803333 or through SpiceJet's Web site www.spicejet.com until November 30, 2005 with travel validity until

January 31, 2006.

The statement quoting Mr Siddhanta Sharma, Chairman, SpiceJet, said: "We have included the twin southern business centres of Chennai and Hyderabad in our route network, thus providing operations in 11 key markets."
