IDMA supplies drugs to quake-hit Pak, J&K

INDIAN drug-makers have supplied medicines to the earthquake-hit Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan.

Members of the Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association supplied medicines worth Rs 25 lakh to the earthquake victims of Pakistan, an IDMA communiqué said.

"IDMA members were arranging materials for the earthquake victims of Jammu & Kashmir and since there was an SOS from the Government to support our brethren in Pakistan, the companies willingly donated part of their stocks for the people of Pakistan," the note said.

IDMA members also supplied Rs 25-30 lakh worth medicines to the earthquake victims of Jammu & Kashmir, the note added.
