Blue Star Q2 net up 32 pc at Rs 11.59 cr

MUMBAI: Blue Star has reported a 32 per cent increase in its second quarter net profit at Rs 11.59 crore (Rs 8.75 crore). Earnings per share increased to Rs 6.44 from Rs 4.86. Total income during the quarter grew by 36 per cent to Rs 284.72 crore.

The company said all its businesses grew. The central air-conditioning business, cooling products business and the professional electronics segment have registered a good growth. For the half-year period, net profit grew by 35 per cent to Rs 16.63 crore on total income of Rs 514.84 crore.

Shares of Blue Star ended the day up by Rs 1.05 at Rs 400.70 on the BSE.
