New DRDO appointments

THE Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced new appointments among its chain of national laboratories and headquarters in New Delhi.

Dr Shreehari Rao has been appointed Director, Defence Electronics Research Laboratory, Hyderabad.

Dr B.S. Sharma, Outstanding Scientist of of DRDL, Hyderabad, has been appointed Director of the Armament Research Development Establishment, Pune. At the DRDO headquarters in New Delhi, Dr V.K. Saraswat, Distinguished Scientist and Director of the Hyderabad-based Research Centre Imarat, has been appointed Chief Controller of Research and Development.

Mr Prahlada, Director, DRDL, has been appointed Chief Controller, Research and Development. Both these appointments are with effect from November 1, according to a DRDO press release here.
