NIRD seminar in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) will be celebrating its Foundation Day on November 8-11 and is hosting a seminar on Rural Development and Social Change on November 9-10, according to a NIRD statement.

According to NIRD, a Rural Technology Park has been set up adjacent the NIRD campus aimed at supporting rural technologies and initiatives. Further, the Rural Building Centre will host about 14 designs of model rural houses using local cost-effective technology and materials.
