Air India re-launches scheme

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Air India has re-launched its Companion Free scheme between India, the US, Canada, the UK and Europe wherein a passenger paying up for his/her ticket can take along a companion free.

An Air India official said here that the scheme would be valid till March 31, 2006. It can be availed of in both the directions. The fare paying passenger and the free companion will have to travel together at least on the outbound sector.

The scheme is applicable for travel between India and the destinations of New York, Newark, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Birmingham, Paris, Frankfurt in normal (IATA), first, executive and economy class fares. Further details can be had from Air India offices and agents.
