IA carries record revenue passengers

INDIAN Airlines carried more than 29,000 revenue-paying passengers for the first time this year on November 6.

In a statement, the airline has said that it carried 29,136 revenue-passengers surpassing its earlier best carriage of 28,730 revenue paying passengers achieved on May 15 this year.

The airline, however, has not yet been able to achieve its previous highest passenger carriage of more than 30,000 passengers achieved on November 21 last year when it carried 30,045 passengers.
