Arts & Crafts Brushing up a masterpiece S. Gopakumar
A priceless collection of 43 paintings by the illustrious Raja Ravi Varma is undergoing conservation treatment at the Sri Chitra Art Gallery in Thiruvananthapuram. Overseen by the Delhi National Museum, the conservation programme was launched in October last year and is scheduled to be completed next month. Among the most renowned of the Ravi Varma repertoire is the one titled `Draupadi in the Court of Virata'.
