New Delhi , Nov. 9 CINE buffs in the National Capital Region (NCR) would soon be able to get their Imax experience with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. They paid about Rs 200 per ticket to catch the shows. Though, for schools that take a bulk booking for their students, the per-ticket price could range between Rs 75-100. The first show is scheduled for November 25. The Imax brand, recognised the world over for creation and delivery of large-format cinematic presentations on screens that are up to eight storeys high and 120 feet wide, is currently in three cities Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. There would be dynamic pricing (from Rs 75 to Rs 200). "There would be variable pricing that would make the annual average ticket priced at Rs 150-160. The pricing would vary based on titles, weekdays and weekends, amongst others," said Adlabs Films Director, Ms Pooja Shetty, The NCR Imax is promoted by retail infrastructure developer Aeren R Group and Anil Ambani promoted-Adlabs Films. The Aeren R CEO, Mr Sujit Kumar, said the company planned to open three more Imax theatres in the coming years. "We plan to open one at Kolkata by the same time next year while the other two will come up at Ludhiana in Punjab and Gurgaon in Haryana around the year 2007," he said, adding the company would be investing close to Rs 100 crore for all these ventures.
