Air Deccan suspends Kolhapur flights

Our Bureau

Mumbai , Nov. 10

AIR Deccan has said it would temporarily suspend its Kolhapur flights from November 10 to 13 due to the closure of the airport.

An official statement said the airport would remain closed for all operations as the runway and taxiway are due to be re-carpeted.

Should the re-surfacing work takes longer than expected, the airline would inform passengers of further changes in its schedule, it said.

Passengers booked for travel during this period can claim full refund on their ticket amount or a free re-scheduling to a later date. Currently, Air Deccan has daily flights from Kolhapur to Mumbai and Belgaum. A 48-seater ATR 42-500 aircraft has been deployed on both routes.

Passengers can contact the airline's call centre at 080-39008888 or help lines in Mumbai at 9892577008 and Maharashtra at 9890477008 for further details.
