Sub-Rs 10,000 PC launched

KOCHI: Team Frontline Ltd, a Kochi-based company, today said its Orchid brand of personal computer (PC) is now available at prices starting Rs 9,999.

This new economy series runs on Linux operating system, the company said in a statement here.

"With the promise of volume off-take, we have now been able to bring down our buying price considerably to achieve this landmark," said Mr Vyloppilly Prashanth Menon, Vice-President - Marketing.Team Frontline said it has so far installed more than 4,000 Orchid PCs, which were launched two years ago.
