IATA's e-freight

THE International Air Transport Association (IATA) has launched IATA e-freight, the cargo component of the association's "Simplifying The Business Initiative". The target is to achieve paperless cargo processing by 2010, entailing a saving of $1.2 billion annually (based on current cargo volumes) and reducing shipping time by up to 25 per cent.
