IA flight to Puttaparthy

BANGALORE: Indian Airlines will re-introduce a thrice-week service to Puttaparthy from Bangalore from Monday.

IA will operate Airbus 320 for the new service on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The flights, which would take 30 minutes to reach the pilgrim town, will leave Bangalore at 10.30 a.m. , while the return service will take off from the pilgrim town at 11 a.m. The new flights provide convenient connection to passengers arriving into Bangalore from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai and also from international destinations. IA also announced a special introductory fare of Rs 850 (inclusive of all taxes) for the journey.
