Karnataka Bank review meet

MANGALORE: The regional heads' review conference of Karnataka Bank Ltd was held in Mangalore on Monday.

Addressing the meeting, Mr Anantakrishna, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, said that `Know Your Customer' and `Anti-Money Laundering' norms should be given importance while opening the accounts to protect the interests of the bank.

He stressed the need for increasing the net interest income, fee-based income, and the productivity of the bank to augment profit.

A bank release said the Chief General Manager, Mr P. Jayarama Bhat; the General Managers, Mr G.K. Bhat, Mr N.S. Chakkera and Mr Jayagopal Yekkar, also spoke on the occasion.
