New head at Lintas Personal

MUMBAI: Mr Suprio Guha Thakurta has been appointed as President, Lintas Personal, Direct Marketing & Customer Relationship Management division of Lintas IMAG. He is taking charge from Mr C.D. Mitra, who will be moving on to a new assignment.

Commenting on Mr Thakurta's appointment, Mr Ashish Bhasin, Director - IMAG, Lintas India, said, "Lintas Personal has done exceptionally well in both the Direct Marketing and CRM areas in the last one year and a lot of this has been driven by Mr Thakurta, so it's a natural choice for us.

Mr Suprio Guha Thakurta is an Engineer by training and an MBA from XLRI. After a successful career in advertising, he ran a software firm and then joined Lintas Personal two years ago as the Western Region Head.
