At the Industry Interactive Meet on Investment Opportunities in West Bengal, jointly organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Government of West Bengal, he said the future holds immense promise as West Bengal is being seen as one of the major players in the IT sector with fiscal incentives for the industry.

The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mr Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, said, "We are trying to advance and we are trying to prove that we are investment-friendly and that we have immense potential in human and natural resources. Things are changing for the better, but we have to continue to work hard."
