Paper pollution

The Bindusagar tank adjacent to the Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar, Orissa is polluted after paper boats and other items were thrown into it by devotees who had come to celebrate Bali Yatra festival on Tuesday.

A project has been prepared to repair the walls of the tank and to purify its waters by using the remediation method. Also proposed is a medicinal plant garden.
