Xiotech to expand India operations

Hyderabad , Nov. 16

XIOTECH Corporation, a technology provider for managing data, has sewn up plans to expand its R&D centre here and double its engineering team based in Hyderabad by investing about $2 million.

The President and Chief Operating Officer of Xiotech, Mr Corey Powell, said that the company currently helps about 1,500 small- and medium-sized companies better manage their data and compliance-related issues. It plans to launch more products developed by their engineering teams here.

"Given the advantage the Indian development centre and engineering teams have provided for the company, we now plan to double the current headcount from 40 and all the fresh inductions would be in India and the company would not take engineers in the US any more," Mr Powell said.

The entire Xiotech management team has converged in India with their families to celebrate the company progress over the years.
