Haworth plans $10-m Pune unit

NEW DELHI: Office furniture maker Haworth India Pvt Ltd has said it is setting up a 65,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility in Pune with an investment of $10 million. The facility would be ready for production by February. The company intends to service the Indian as well as the West Asian market through this facility, said Mr Kapil Agarwal, Managing Director, Haworth India. Haworth is eyeing a $20-million turnover this calendar year, a 50 per cent jump over last year.
