The number of home stays is on the rise in Kumbalanghi model tourism village, which is the first of its kind in the country. With another tourist season about to begin, there are bright prospects for this idyllic village on the suburbs of Kochi. However, officials are thinking of restricting the number of home stays after some adverse reports from countries such as Sri Lanka.
