ETL INFRASTRUCTURE Services Ltd, which is promoting an IT park here with an estimated outlay of Rs 140 crore, would complete the first phase by September next.

According to Mr Thiagarajan, Managing Director, ETL Infrastructure Services, ETL has acquired 14 acres of land on Avinashi Road for this venture.

The company is planning to rent out eight lakh sq ft space in the first phase and a like area in the second phase of this project. This is the third park mooted by ETL, the other initiatives being located at Chennai and its vicinity.

Mr Thiagarajan said work on the home linen park had just commenced on a 300-acre land with an estimated outlay of Rs 110 crore. "It is expected to be complete by June 2006. We will provide the basic infrastructure, but the prospective occupants would have to set up the unit. We are planning to lease out the space," he added.
