Indus League to launch more Jealous, Urban Yoga outlets

COME summer of 2006, Indus League Clothing will launch eight exclusive Jealous and four Urban Yoga outlets across the country.

Talking to Business Line, Mr Arun Sirdeshmukh, Head-Marketing, Indus League Clothing Ltd, said two Jealous outlets would be launched in Bangalore, two in New Delhi, and one each in Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad, taking their total to eight. (There is currently one exclusive outlet in Kochi.) Jealous is available in four fits and various shades.

It includes cargos, cat suits, denim and corduroy jackets. Trousers are priced between Rs 899 and Rs 1,299, while tops are priced from Rs 299 to Rs 599. The brand is available at the Central Mall, Pantaloons and Globus.

Launching the Urban Yoga brand in Pune this week, Mr Sirdeshmukh said Indus League would open exclusive shops in Bangalore and Mumbai. The company is looking at Pune and Hyderabad. It will also study the markets in the North and the East.

Mr Sirdeshmukh said that by summer 2006, the company would have five brands under its umbrella. He pointed out that Urban Yoga has been co-created with yoga practitioners and teachers and features two ranges — Urban Yoga Body and Urban Yoga Soul.

It also has a range of accessories such as yoga mats and bags.
