Global, domestic players to take part in ACMEE

ACMEE 2006, the international industrial exhibition organised by the Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers' Association (AIEMA), will bring together global outsourcing leaders such as Cummins (US), Scania (Sweden), and Packar - DAF (Sweden) and Indian automobile component manufacturers, said Mr R. Selvaraj, Chairman, ACMEE.
Titled `An opportunity for growth', next year's exhibition will focus on(as the acronym signifies) automobile and allied services, computers and peripherals, machinery and machine tools, electricals and equipment, and electronics and controls.
Mr Selvaraj said that apart from local participants, the exhibition, to be held from June 8 to 12, 2006, is expected to attract participation from the Russian Federation, the UK, Italy, Germany, Israel, Taiwan, Korea, Australia and Sri Lanka.
Mr K.S. Jeyaraman, convener of the event, said almost 50 per cent of the space had been booked eight months before the scheduled start.
