SpiceJet to operate late-night flights

THE low-cost airline SpiceJet is to operate a late-night flight on the Delhi-Hyderabad-Chennai sector from December 4.

In a statement, the airline has said that initially, the flight will operate on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The airline plans to operate a late-night flight on the Chennai-Hyderabad-Delhi sector every Wednesday, Saturday and Monday.

The flight will leave Delhi at 9.15 p.m. and arrive in Hyderabad at 11.15 p.m. After a 30-minute halt, it will leave Hyderabad and arrive in Chennai at 12.45 a.m.

The airline is offering a promotional fare of Rs 1,599 for travel between Delhi and Hyderabad, while there is a special fare of Rs 999 for travel between Hyderabad and Chennai. Similarly, the promotional fare on the Delhi-Chennai route has been pegged at Rs 1,999.
