InterGlobe Tech invests $2 m in IT, BPO facility

INTERGLOBE Technologies has announced expansion of operations with a launch of a new IT and BPO facility.

"The company has invested $2 million in the new facility which has 500 production seats. We already have another centre in Gurgaon with 450 seats. We plan to open up facilities in other parts of India. In the long term, the company will look at a fully integrated campus," Mr Rahul Bhatia, Managing Director of InterGlobe Enterprises Ltd, said at a conference in Gurgaon.

He said 70 per cent of the company's operations is focused on software development including applications development, maintenance and production support, while the balance is BPO including voice support, back office, data entry and transaction processing work.

InterGlobe Technologies is a travel technology and process outsourcing solutions provider offering products and services tailored to the needs of the travel industry — airlines, cruises, hotels, travel distribution providers, travel management companies and online travel service providers.
