Vercom partners French firms for document software

Hyderabad , Nov. 23

VERCOM Software India, part of the US-based software services provider, has been chosen as the exclusive implementation-cum-distribution partner for the document management software products of the French firms - - Saitel and APPIC.

The Indian office will deploy the products, StarJet and Gargantua, that help automate and manage the entire document management lifecycle. The products also enable corporations to configure and integrate document workflow. Over 30,000 licences of the products have been sold to 2,000 clients worldwide.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, the Managing Director of Vercom India, Mr Asif Ahmed, said the document management software market, estimated at Rs 200 crore, is rapidly growing. Documents need to be personalised, secured, dispatched and shared easily. The availability of documents in real time is critical for organisations. The software helps streamline this process, he explained.

Vercom India is part of Vercom Software Inc, a technology division of the Holding Group IRME (International Research & Marketing), headquartered in Saudi Arabia. Mr Jean Pierre, Export Sales Director, Siatel, and specialist in electronic document management , launched these products in India. Vercom has an exclusive tie-up to sell them here. It also has exclusive rights to market the software in the US, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar.
