Hyderabad, Nov. 23

As a follow up of the recent visit of a high-power team to Tada in Andhra Pradesh to explore the possibility of setting up a greenfield unit in the State, the management of the German carmaker Volkswagen has invited State officials to visit it early next month.

According to officials, while the carmaker has indicated that they would like the State officials to visit the German headquarters in the first week, the State Government has not yet finalised the tour plans. Some of the State's senior officials were tied up with Bihar election related work.

Last month, a high-power team, including Volkswagen legal experts, held parleys with State officials.
