Apollo Hospital net up 20 pc in H1

APOLLO Hospital and Enterprises Ltd has reported a 20 per cent growth in net profit for the half-year ended September. The company has reported a net profit of Rs 30.9 crore for the period, compared with Rs 25.7 crore in the corresponding period of last year.

It has also reported a 17 per cent hike in total income, at Rs 339.80 crore compared with Rs 289.60 crore in the first half of last year. A press release from the company says that the Apollo hospital in Chennai was in the process of implementing the quality requirement for Joint Commission International (JCI) — an international hospital accreditation body.
