Committed governance

Bihar is desperate to keep its economy growing rapidly.

It is good to hear that Mr Nitish Kumar, an engineer by qualification and training, has taken charge of Bihar, which was virtually written off as a "failed state".

It is time we took some lessons from China, a country virtually run by engineers.

Similarly, every State in India should induct sufficient number of qualified people in the Assembly.
