Kerala wins e-governance award

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala has won an award for its e-governance initiatives. The award, instituted by the Indiatech Foundation, recognises Kerala as the second-best State in the country for the implementation of e-governance initiatives, says a press release issued by the Kerala State Information Technology Mission.

The award was announced during the Telecom India 2005 event held recently in Mumbai.
