World MBA Tour to visit Hyderabad tomorrow

THE World MBA Tour, an admissions event to major colleges of Management across the US and Europe, would be held in Hyderabad on November 29.

The World MBA Tour visits 55 cities in a year on five continents, travelling with a record 350 plus international business schools. Participants on the tour include 19 of the top 20 US schools and all of the leading European business schools.

The US schools travelling on the Tour include: Chicago, Columbia, Cornell, Duke, Georgetown, Kellogg, Michigan, Stanford, Tuck, UCLA and Wharton. From Europe, participants include: SDA Bocconi from Italy, HEC and INSEAD from France, IESE, ESADE and IE from Spain, IMD from Switzerland, Rotterdam from the Netherlands and London Business School, Manchester, Bath, Cambridge, Cranfield, Imperial, Oxford and Warwick from the UK.

In a press release, World MBA Tour claimed that it is the largest series of business schools admission fairs.

For the First time the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business is also coming to present to prospective MBA students. It was ranked the best business school in the US in 2004 by the Wall Street Journal. The alumni of the school in Hyderabad would be welcome at the `Meet Ross Reception', being hosted, according to a press release.
