Operations at Chennai port in full swing

CHENNAI: Operations at the Chennai port are in full swing after being affected by heavy rain in the last few days.

Productivity levels have been maintained by most of the vessels.

For instance, the vessel Y.K. Taurus handling steam coal at Jawahar Dock IV achieved the prescribed norm of 10,000 tonnes a day, according to a senior Chennai Port Trust official.
