The Hindu Business Line : Home for HIV-hit kids

KOTTAYAM: The Chief Minister, Mr Oommen Chandy, will formally inaugurate Asha Kiran, a home for HIV infected children, at KG College, Pampady near Kottayam, on December 1. The First Catholicos of the East, Baselios Marthoma Didymus, will preside over the function.

Asha Kiran is the Kottayam unit of the Association of the Orphanages and other Charitable Institutions of Kerala. The State Health Minister, Mr K.K. Ramachandran Master, will inaugurate the blood-testing laboratory attached to Asha Kiran. Rev Dr Mathew Arackal will deliver the keynote address.
